Despite the catastrophic floods that hit Obrenovac in May and inflicted a heavy blow to "Electric Power Industry of Serbia", Corporate Enterprise "Thermal Power Plants Nikola Tesla" still managed to follow a nice tradition. For the thirteenth consecutive year at TPP "Nikola Tesla A" prize money were given to the best students of the generation in primary and secondary schools, as well as the most successful participants in national and international competitions in areas where there are branches of the largest electricity producer in the region (CM Obrenovac, MA Svilajnac and LC Veliki Crljeni). This year, for the tenth time, children of TENT employees who are studying in other places were awarded too but highly ranked participants of the competitions in vocational subjects. For extraordinary results in the academic year 2013/2014 46 elementary and high school students received awards.

Among the most notable there were the students from Svilajnac, which this time could boast of a rich "harvest" of awards. This year's winners were awarded by Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, Director of TENT, Mr Ljubisa Mihailovic, Director of Production, Mr Mihailo Nikolic, Director of TENT A and Mr Vojin Nestorović, Director of Corporate Affairs.
With best wishes to the champions of knowledge, Mr Čedomir Ponoćko wished them to be equally successful in the further education and "marathon of life" that is waiting for them.
- You need to stay strong, durable and endure all forty-two kilometers of the marathon.

I want you to be through your whole life at least nearly as good as you were in the past. Unfortunately, we were deeply troubled by terrible floods. But when we see you such beautiful, kind, smart and successful we feel happier, because we realize that what we do really makes sense. Analyzing your results, I saw they are fascinating. I congratulate you and wish you not to give up the upcoming marathon, said Mr Ponoćko.
The award ceremony, along with representatives of TENT, was attended by school principals and teachers, pupils' parents and other guests.
