FIRST MEETING OF EMERGENCY SITUATION OPERATIONAL TEAM OF CE TENT

 

First meeting of Operational team for coordination of activities, preparation of data and documentation and taking actions in the process of natural disasters risk assessment, and other accidents within CE „Thermal Power Plants Nikola Tesla“ ltd., Obrenovac, as well as making of a plan of protection and rescue in emergency situations, according to obligations stipulated by regulations on emergency situations, was held yesterday in TENT A. This Operational team was formed by director of CE TENT begining of June, based on the Decision of establishment CE TENT from 2012 and Decision by acting general director of PE EPS dated 20 May 2013. Operational team's task is to analyze and identify potential dangers from natural and other disasters, and to collect, organize, classify, analyze and prepare the necessary information and suggestions for carrying out the planned activities within the scope of the company.

At the first meeting of Operational team attended by Zoran Bajić, president, and memebers Boban Ivanović, Svetislav Pavlović and Dragan Čolić, as well as director of corporate affairs CE TENT Vojin Nestorović, and Jovan Vasković, head of risk Management sector, it was decided that a list of facilities, per branches, which would be the most endangered in possible emergency situations in CE TENT, should by prepared by 18 August and sent to the Central team of PE EPS. Operational team has, also, concluded that it is necessary to organize training for team members as soon as possible so they could perform their work properly and responsibly.

Operational team members pointed out that, on the basis of information which will be collected ad analyzed, suitable team for emergency situations should be formed, professionally trained and technically equipped. It would be most logical to place the function of reacting in emergency situations within corporate affairs, where it could be connected to fire protection tasks.
