Blood donated by 141 employees from TENT, PRO-TENT and construction companies

In Thermal Power Plant “Nikola Tesla” A in Obrenovac, this summer’s second voluntary blood donation campaign was held on 7 August. 141 employees from CE TENT, CE PRO TENT and a number of construction companies donated blood, thus securing the corresponding number of units of this precious liquid.

- From a total of 151 applicants, 141 donated blood (119 men and 22 women), and for the first time four young donors joined the campaign. Considering it is a holiday season, which people from Obrenovac use to repair its homes damaged during the floods, the response was satisfactory, said Jasmina Karić, coordinator for voluntary blood donation in TENT A.

Apart from confirming solidarity and humanity once again, employees of the largest power plant in the Balkans, have provided significant support to Transfusion Institute of Serbia to secure necessary reserves for the following period, so that the scheduled surgical interventions and patients treatments would not be delayed due to the lack of blood.
