f 1

TPP „Morava“ has started with the unit overhaul. This year, it is planned for the works to last 45 days and be finished by the end of September.

- We will perform necessary testing in order to comprehend the needs for major overhaul due in 2015. The plan is to inspect steam pipeline, headers, lowering pipes and superheater pipes. Also, we will replace damaged pipes in pipe system, perform  thermo insulation and lining works, repair the mills, ducts and fans, said director Marija Stevanović.

Works regarding ash and slag handling system are planned as well. We will inspect turbine bearings, overhaul and replace switches in switchgear in order to ensure stable electricity supply. Planned overhaul value in this year is more than 222 million RSD.

Otherwise, since the beginning of the year, TPP „Morava“ has produced 369.948 MWh of electricity, thus fulfilling the plan with 76,12 percent. Due to the lack of coal from open pit mines, power plant has not been working for 306 hours, has worked on technical minimum for 904 hours, while being in cold reserve for 337 hours. Although the plan has not been fulfilled, TPP "Morava" has contributed significantly to the stability of the electric power system, especially in the most difficult days for EPS, during the May’s floods.
