Thermal power plant "Morava" helps the family of the perished miner

 

 

Thermal power plant "Morava" gave away the keys of the flat for temporary use to the family of the perished miner Zeljko Miletic in the pit Strmosten of the Rembas mine. Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antić gave the keys of the apartment to Željko’s wife Verica Lazic during a visit to this family Minister Antic also thanked director Marija Stevanović who helped the family to get the keys of the apartment. 

After the accident at the mine we visited Željko’s family, wife and three small children. When we saw the conditions in which they live, in the house with cracked walls and no water, we decided to help them. With the approval of the director of TENT Čedomira Ponoćko we have gave away company apartment for temporary use. The family is among the most vulnerable in Svilajnac after the tragic death of Željko they are in strong need for help, says the director of thermal power plant "Morava" Marija Stevanović.

Public Enterprise for Underground Coal Exploitation „Resavica“ has financially helped Verica  Lazić in order to furnish the apartment and the power plant will continue to help this family.
