At TPP NT the end of business year 2014 was marked on appropriate cocktail party
-The year 2014 we started with very optimistic plans with possibility to accomplish even better results than we accomplished in 2013, but due to floods happened in May, whose consequences were disastrous, we couldn’t accomplish those plans in total.But, thanks to all employees, who are ready to take a risk and thanks to their persistence to realise what was planned for this year, we finished successfully large overhaul at the Unit A1 and we are on final stage of revitalisation the Unit A3 which, we hope, will be synchronised on the grid around January, 20th 2015, said Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, general manager of TPP NT during today’s gathering with business partners and associates. This is traditional gathering which TPP NT marks the end of another business year. In this “tough year”, said Mr Ponoćko, massive engagements performed at the Unit A3 are near finish where generator and turbine are almost replaced in full. We also install the system for reducing nitrous oxides and with reconstruction of electrostatic precipitators; degree of environment protection is risen on higher level.
-If floods didn’t happen in 2014, on spring 2015 realisation the project for flue gas desulphurization would start, but due to this newly created situation, we have to wait for finishing this project, said Mr Ponoćko. In the end, Mr Ponoćko wished for better 2015 than last one in energetic and financial sense.
At this cocktail party were representatives from PE EPS, scientific and educational institutions form Belgrade, local government, church representatives from Obrenovac, numerous associates as well as media representatives.
