New Year’s greeting by Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, general manager of TPP NT

- We are in the end of 2014, and at Thermal Power plant “Nikola Tesla” A activities are still very significant, because we are in the rush to finish the overhaul at the Unit A3.We still have lots of work to do, but we hope we will synchronise the Unit on the grid around January, 20^th 2015. At this working atmosphere we expect all following holidays. Considering TPP NT, operation situation is following: at TPP NT A from 6 Units, 5 of them are in operation, and just few days ago, only three Units were in operation. Only the Unit A3 is out of operation. At TPP NT B, all Units are in operation in full load. We started the Unit at TPP “Morava” with power of 120 MW. And also, three Units at TPP “Kolubara” are in operation. Even these days the temperatures are so low, we welcome the New Year ready and we hope we will overcome these cold days successfully, which according to forecast are going to last till Christmas. Since we successfully finished overhauls on our Units, we hope we won’t have any surprises and that we will efficiently respond for increased consumption of electric power during holidays. The most conspicuous, of course, will happen on December, 31^st from noon till 2 a.m. on January, 1^st. Now our Units operate on technical minimum and they have rather reserve to upraise the power, so I believe that without any problems we will go through this period.
