The first synchronization is planned for January, 22nd 2015
Due to deadline delay for finishing the work at electrostatic precipitator facility at Unit A3, terms for start up the Unit from the overhaul are changed, i.e. its first synchronisation on the grid with relation to original term plan and deadlines defined at last monthly meeting.According to newly adopted term plan firing the boiler for unit start up is planned for January, 20th 2015 and its first synchronisation on the grid is planned for January, 22nd 2015. This is all concluded at the meeting of TPP NT members of management with contractors which was held on January, 6th 2015. Detailed report of works in progress within all LOTs which were performed during December 2014 was given at the meeting and on this occasion was determined that after firing the boiler, generator blowing would be done, than the turbine would be operating at 3000 rpm, than all necessary electrical testing should be done and after all those testing, the Unit would be synchronised on the grid.
Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, general manager of TPP NT, saying New Year and Christmas greetings to all meeting participants, he wished that beginning of 2015 should be marked with successful finish of the project of revitalisation the Unit A3, which would be finally dot the I in realisation one of so huge and complex project.
Mr Mihailo Nikolić, manager of TPP NT A and main manager of the project said that “as we are more and more near the end of works at the Unit A3, estimations for their finish are more realistic”. He specially emphasised the fact that all problems appeared during executing all complex works at this Unit were solved on spot with agreement and good mutual cooperation among investor and contractor.
Talking about works at boiler facility, which represents one of larger part of the project, Mr Sveto Dobrijević, leader of this project emphasised that they were successfully finished and that at that moment blowing of boiler pipeline system was happening. 800 tons of new pipes were installed at the boiler facility. All works on electrostatic precipitator, for which realisation of this project was extended as a whole, as he expect, will be finished till January, 20th 2015 for when firing the boiler is planned. He emphasised huge contribution of all employees engaged on this project, from engineers till job executors and their willingness for executing the job in very specific circumstances and very low temperatures so this job would be successfully finish.
With synchronised dynamic of paying the contractors which follow works on site additional “tailwind” for successful end of this project was given. From contracted works in total value of 75,422,871.78 € till this moment is paid more than 55 million € (55,008,379.63 € to be precise).
In December was registered some higher number of injured workers on site in relation to previous months, but the reason this number was increased is that workers are tired and insufficient concentrated during this final phase of the project. From 27 visits to dispensary, there was 10 injures happened on the job and one of them is more serious so, once again appeal was sent to all employees to maximally respect regulations considering safety and protection the workers on the site and using HTP equipment.
