MEETING OF PENSIONERS AT TPP NT
The traditional 7th March meeting of pensioners at CE TPP NT was held this year within TPP “Nikola Tesla” A in Obrenovac. The gathering started by laying down a wreath at the tombstone dedicated to Bogoljub Urošević Crni, and than it was continued in the canteen over mutual lunch. In well-known ambience, relaxed atmosphere and selected company, the veterans of Serbian electric power industry brought back the memories with pleasure the moment when, 45 years ago, the Unit A1 at TPP NT was synchronised on the grid.
- It was hard, but for us nice time as well. It was hard because there were very complicated tasks, huge responsibilities, humble work conditions and poor financial circumstances, but it was also nice because gaining new knowledge, eruption of working enthusiasm, unique collective spirit and friendship. Guided to clear vision, steady attitude and firm hand by Mr Bogoljub Urošević and later on by his the most successful “successor” Mr Vladimir Močnik, we gained to mutual aims – to work easier, create more, and live better, said Mr Bogdan Đurđević doyen of EPS, a person who released through wires the first kW of electric power from the first TPP NT unit.
According to veterans, even today TPP NT may say that there are very qualified workers, high-quality engineers and intelligent innovators. That could be seen during last years disastrous floods when thanks to brave decisions, good organisation and prompt actions of management and employees, all production capacities were saved.
In the name of management, Mr Milan Petković deputy manager at TPP NT said a few word to the guests. Saying satisfaction that among guest he could see some of them from whom he learnt, he wished to all veterans to gather next year in larger number and better spirit. In the name of pensioners, Mr Zlatan Marinković, the president of society of pensioners at TPP NT, addressed to guests and expressed gratitude.
