At CE TPP NT was held the meeting on the subject of EPS reorganisation

 

General Manager at “Electric Power Industry of Serbia” Mr Aleksandar Obradović with associates today held the meeting at TPP “Nikola Tesla” A in Obrenovac with officials of organisational units on the first and second level (including departments leaders at TPP NT A) as well as representatives of two syndicates at CE TPP NT.The subject of the meeting was upcoming reorganisation which is going to be done at PE EPS.

- This reorganisation actually means that “Electric Power Industry of Serbia” is going to change its role into electric power system of Serbia. We are changing and going into market and one of the main aims which EPS has to achieve is – profit. We should be firm, stable company, which will produce profit, and of course, it will also allow to their employees to develop faster and better, said to the media Mr Aleksandar Obradović and he added:

- What does actually mean for my colleagues from TPP NT? I think that those are two main positive aspects which are going to happen in a very short period of time. Firstly, with larger integration of all dependent corporate companies within EPS, for all our colleagues will be enabled to plan their careers not just in one small, closed firm. They will be more independent and according to their references and possibilities it will be possible to achieve their progress in careers within whole system. It would be much easier to transfer from one part of the company into another. Secondly, it was common problem at TPP NT that communication and cooperation with MB “Kolubara” relating to delivery and quality of the coil is not on expected and desired level. Now, when we become united system, we will operate as one body – all intern unclearness and possible misunderstandings which existed on relation between dependent corporate companies will be eliminated.

Answering to journalist’s question if citizens of Serbia would feel bettering from this process as well, the manager at EPS answered:

- Of course they would! When “Electric Power Industry of Serbia” becomes firm and profitable company, the Government and the State will get more money – it will be more money for schools, for hospitals, for roads. Furthermore, when we become profitable company, we could think to cross abroad and to be investors in the region which would also increase possibilities for further career development of our employees. Thirdly, but not less important thing – when we have firm company, our employees can be calmer, considering job stability and own future. Company which is not profitable cannot be carrier of Serbian economy. Unfortunately, during a few last years EPS was more not profitable than profitable company. When “Electric Power Industry of Serbia” after this reorganisation becomes firmer, more integrated and more profitable company, it will be great plus not just for the employees but for the whole society as well, said Mr Obradović during today meeting.

Otherwise, meetings on the actual subject were held or are going to be held at all dependent companies which owner is PE “Electric Power Industry of Serbia”.
