152 UNITS OF BLOOD PROVIDED AT TENT

A A total of 152 employees participated in the first spring voluntary blood drive held on April 10 at TPP "Nikola Tesla" A , including 25 members of the gentler sex and 14 participants gave blood for the first time. A total of 168 potential donors applied for participation in this drive, but 16 of them had to give up following the orders of the medical team.

According to Jasmina Karic, the coordinator of the Red Cross in TENT A, the donors turnout was higher than expected and employees of both CE TENT and the construction companies, PRO TENT, GOSA MONTAZA, TPP "KOSOVO" Obilic were equally involved in the drive.

-There is a rise in the number of young donors who, by participating, maintain continuity of the mass blood donation at TENT's plants . Since they have no other privileges, except for two days off, humanity and solidarity are their only motivation, and senior colleagues, mostly multiple donors, are the their best motivators. We are especially grateful to our employer who once again, given an understanding of the financial circumstances of the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia, provided lunch for all the participants of the April blood drive, pointed out Karic.

According to the established schedule, the next blood drive in CE TENT will be organized in TPP "Nikola Tesla", where the number of donors (in proportion to the number of employees)is also very high.
