CEDOMIR PONOCKO, THE CE TENT DIRECTOR, TALKED TO THE UGS “INDEPENDENCE” REPRESENTATIVES

f1

Yesterday, the director of CE TENT, Cedomir Ponocko, talked to the President of the UGS "Independence ", Branislav Canak, and his staff during their visit to the Union of shift workers in CE TENT - Independence. On this occasion they discussed the upcoming changes within PE EPS, work of the Social and Economic Council of Serbia and the issues of employment of a certain number of PRO TENT workers in CE TENT.

- The Social and Economic Council will raise more thoroughly the issue of energy and possible incentives for the development of the electric power system, which is the basis for the development of all other economic activities. In this regard, due consideration shall be given to filling the necessary job positions in the production process of all the companies within the PE EPS and CE TENT, which are now engaged as contractors through PRO TENT, said Branislav Canak , who is also the chairman of Social and Economic Council. He pointed out, after talks with the director Ponocko, that it is encouraging that there is, in principle, enough common ground between the understanding of the projections of the future development of the entire EPS, especially TENT and PRO TENT, and the manner of their implementation.

- We strive, if possible, to readmit not only the people who had left TENT for PRO TENT, but also the newly admitted to PRO TENT who are essential and work at TENT, and for whose return I as the director have valid arguments. We have sent an argumentative proposal to the Supervisory Board EPS asking, as the first step, to bring back or admit to TENT some 1050 people, that we can actually employ, and about 250 people who were admitted for a limited time to PRO TENT, but who undoubtedly work on tasks which exist at TENT, said Cedomir Ponocko. It would be good , he said, that concerning this there was in fact a unified position of TENT and the trade unions in it and of the PRO TENT, as well as a consistent policy of EPS that all the pertinent parts which had once left EPS have equal treatment for their return (to EPS).

- Personally, I am not in favor of TENT dealing with some additional activities that are not electricity and heat production, said the director Ponocko.
