Overhaul of the unit TENT A-4 has starte

 

First overhaul at TENT A has started on Good Friday (18 April) on the unit A-4, stated the director of TENT A Mihailo Nikolić.

As he said, they have used the Easter holiday period for cooling of complete facility and preparation for washing of  boiler, due to the overhaul of tube system, as well as other parts of boiler facility.

On certain parts of boiler and accompanying equpment, more complex activities shall be executed, but delay in public procurements can cause problems and influence degree of implementation and quality of overhaul.

Repair of the unit A-6, in the duration of one month, should start on 1 May. Practically, annual overhaul shall be finished on both units by the end of May.

- Considering that the overhaul of 30 days is too short for any major activities, it is highly important to plan well and remove all irregularrities during overhaul, so as to eneble the unit to  work properly in the following period of one year, said Nikolić.
