IN THIS YEAR'S LAST BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN GEATHERED 150 BLOOD UNITS
In this year’s last blood donation campaign, held on December, 11th there were 150 donors. They are employed in the TPP NT, PRO-TENT and other construction companies, by which response it is provided the same number of units of these precious liquid.Among the donors, there were 29 women, and four of the employees donated blood for the first time. In this December campaign, 171 donors were registered, but, 21 of them needed to give up due to medical team order.
Otherwise, during this year, four blood donation campaigns were held at the TPP NT – three regular and one extra campaign, and response of active, as well as retired workers was too high among the expected. Voluntarily blood donation has a long tradition at all locations of CE TPP NT (TPP NT A, TPP NT B in Ušće, TPP “Kolubara” A in Veliki Crljeni and TPP “Morava” in Svilajnac) where from campaign to campaign number of donors increase, especially the young ones.
Despite flood happened in May, in 2014 serious number of humanitarian actions were also realised, and by this, employees from the biggest producer of electricity in Serbia showed their humanity.
