DELEGATION FROM CZECH REPUBLIC VISITED TPP NT

Delegation from Czech Republic consisting of the Czech Republic ambassador to Serbia, her Excellency Ms Ivana Hlavsova, the president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce Mr Vladimir Dlouhy, representatives of a few well-established Czech companies and banks, visited today TPP NT in Obrenovac where members of management welcomed them with great pleasure.

The main reason of their visit was dialogue about previous cooperation, as well as considering possibilities for its continuance, especially in the field of electrical engineering.

Greeted the respected guests, general manager at CE TPP NT Mr Čedomir Ponoćko especially expressed thanks to urgent and adequate help which was sent by Czech friends and its providing to Obrenovac and TPP NT during last year floods happened in May.

- As brightest memory stayed a crew which was engaged in draining water from the oldest TPP “Kolubara” in Veliki Crljeni. Their professionalism and principle, which are nowadays very rare, have met with our admiration and respect. We are learning from your experiences because you had confronted with water woes for several times as well. We made sure even symbolic help during crisis could be more valuable than generous donation, said Mr Ponoćko and he also added:

- Knowing that Czech Republic, together with Germany, is one of the leaders in Europe talking about technical development, we have a great respect to your technology and it is a great pleasure to cooperate with you.

A huge spectrum of products and services as well as potentials for further cooperation were presented by a few well-established Czech companies and banks – AŽD, ZK-Termochem, Bridge Power Investments, Czech Export bank. Some of them as AŽD and ZK-


Termochem are well known by TPP NT and EPS, while others, as Bridge Power Investments enter for the first time on this market.

- We think that, comparing to Germany, we even have minimal advantage – we can offer high quality at a good price, we can be more flexible and achieve good business contacts, said Mr Vladimir Dlouhy, president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

- Our cooperation with business partners from Czech has been very successful. We hope that to mutual satisfaction, it will continue and even improve, said Mr Milan Petković, Deputy Manager at CE TPP NT.
