Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, general manager at TPP NT, has received “Award of Captain Miša Anastasijević”
Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, general manager at CE TPP NT Obrenovac, is one of the winners of “Award of Captain Miša Anastasijević”, in category the best businessman for 2014. This award has been given at yesterday ceremony held in the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade (Mansion of Captain Miša Anastasijević), in presence of other laureates, numerous established guests and media representatives.
The ceremony started with national anthem “Bože pravde” performed by children choir of the First Belgrade Singing Society. After welcome speech said by Mr Milivoje Miletić, the president at Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Mr Radovan Pejanović, rector of the University of Novi Sad (the jury president), writer Pero Zubac made a speech about life and work of Miša Anastasijević, famous Serbian trader and philanthropist lived in 19th century. Wishing good health and successful business, awards of Captain Miša Anastasijević were handed by project leaders. According to them, winners, each in its work segment, deserved the victory of this prestigious award.
As eminent businessman, manager and leader, the first man at PE TPP NT Obrenovac, Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, has been awarded at the proposal of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the University of Belgrade and media representatives from this area.
Since his assigning as general manager at one of the biggest economic associations at CE EPS, in 2013, several very significant projects have been realised. With their realisation, stability and efficiency of domestic electro energy system has been improved, more quality supply the consumers of electric power has been enabled and significant improvement has been gained in environmental protection.
The last project has been the overhaul performed at the Unit A3 in TPP NT A which lasted for seven months (its include Unit power increase), this was stated, among others in the explanation. It was specially stated Mr Ponoćko’s engaging during last year floods happened in May, when decisions made in due time and efficient measures made by management and employees at TPP NT in danger facilities were saved.
- This isn’t my personal but collective recognition, because, working at TPP NT means play at “large field”, which give you the opportunity and privilege to become yourself huge. If you play in a small club, you haven’t got any chance. And TPP NT is so large and very significant that this can never be lost of sight. More than half bulbs in Serbia light due to electric power produced at TPP NT. For me personally, regarding to my age and experience in economy, this award is as “Dobrica’s Ring Award” said Mr Čedomir Ponoćko receiving this award.
Traditional “Award of Captain Miša Anastasijević” has been jointly awarded since 2000 by Agency Media Invent Novi Sad, the University of Belgrade, the University of Novi Sad, with support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina and local governments. For achieved results in 2014, 23 awards have been given, which winners are the most successful companies and individuals from country and abroad.
