Mr Mihailo Nikolić, acting manager at CE TPP NT, takes his duty up
Today at CE TPP NT manager duty takeover between Mr Čedomir Ponoćko, previous general manager and Mr Mihailo Nikolić, who has been nominated for acting manager by Executive Board of Directors of Public Enterprise “Electric Power Industry of Serbia” has been done at this economic association. Duty takeover has been done in presence of PE EPS representatives, executive management at CE TPP NT and the press.
Saying thanks to very successful cooperation with all co-workers and colleagues during performing the duties of the “leader” at this economic association, Mr Čedomir Ponoćko emphasised how he was proud that he cooperated with very skilful and clever workers who are the part of this company in previous period.
- From February, 1st 2013 when I took the duty up till now, personally I spent two very difficult years, but speaking as engineer I spent two great years in this power plant. Thanks to high engagement of all employees, their professional skills, we succeeded in conditions of huge disaster which happened last year to maintain facilities of TPP NT in its successful operation. Last year after floods, we were on the edge if we were going to do overhauls of the Units A1 and A3, which would be devastating for that system but in condition when we were short of money, with enormous help of great experts from this company, we pulled through all of difficulties and we made that those power plants operated faultlessly, said Mr Čedomir Ponoćko adding that the biggest effect we could see in recently finished revitalisation done at the Unit A3 where two thirds of new devices and equipment were installed.
He said that on personal request he was dismissed from this position due to very attempting financial offer and leaving on the consulting position, within the scope of international project of building huge transformer station in Lastva near Tivat and that was mutually realised between Montenegro and Italy.
Acting manager at CE TPP NT, Mr Mihailo Nikolić said thanks to Mr Čedomir Ponoćko who proposed him on position of general manager emphasising that it was a huge honour but responsibility as well to get trust for leading such a huge and complex economic association which had enormous significance for this country.
- I came in this company on the foundation of the Unit A3 and whole working period I spent under its roof always giving maximum. During working life I gradually advanced in career from one responsibly position to another so in one moment I became manager at TPP NT A and we all know that TPP NT A is the most complicated and the biggest facility in the whole economic association. Feeling that I belong here was crucial for me to except this duty, said Mr Mihailo Nikolić new general manager at CE TPP NT emphasising that he saw himself on this position as a leader of a team where everybody in a way participate equally and function as a team.
- I am proud that in very complex situations, speaking about technical aspects, but also during disastrous weather conditions, prompt and right decisions were made which contributed that even disastrous weather conditions were, power plants were able to quickly enter into electro energy system and start to produce electric power, their basic product.
In following period, great tasks expect us because very soon all regular overhauls are going to start. We are in one specific moment when the program of reorganisation of PE EPS has started to realise and we also have a lot of obligations which have to be fulfilled. Although one more complex and demanding year started, as last years also were complex, I believe that we will together with our associates and all employees give maximum contribution so we could successfully finish 2015, said Mr Mihailo Nikolić. In the end, he thanked to Mr Čedomir Ponoćko on everything he had done during period he spent as general manager at economic association TPP NT.
