The Unit B1 connected on the grid – at the Unit B2 started overhaul

On Friday, 24th 2015, the Unit B1 has been returned and connected on the electrical grid of Serbia after successfully finished standard repairing works which started on 20th of March 2015 at this facility.

- The Unit B1 last weekend reached its full power of 650 MW and it operates stably, says Mr Goran Lukić, manager at TPP NT B. The same day when the Unit B1 has been connected to the grid, the Unit B2 has been shut down and at this unit standard repairing works are going to be performed. According to him, repairing works will last 45 days and during this period, new block transformer of 725 MVA, 450 tons heavy with all related equipment will be installed and also combs at LUV, actually at rotary air preheaters at this Unit will be changed.
