Environmental friendly

CE TENT is the biggest energy producer in Serbia and region of South East Europe but it is also a leader in environmental protection measures.

Being responsible toward the communities where we operate is one of our key drivers. We are proactive and reliable partner in sustainable improvement of community quality of life and environmental protection.

As proactive and responsible we implemented a number of EU Environmental directives in many areas even before the official deadlines.

Most important environmental protection projects we completed:

• Implementation of new Ash handling management system, its transport and ash storage
  
  
• ESP modernization
  
  
• Implementation of system monitoring for water, air and land surfaces
  
  
• Overhaul and modernization of main facilities equipment which influences the overall environmental protection
  
  
• FGD and deNox facilities construction, treatment with primary measures. In this area so far we invested more than 70 mil euro. In order to complete all planned projects until 2017 we will invest another 440 mil euro

Environmental protection projects are ongoing and sustainable area of our constant monitoring, control and management. This policy is inclusive driver in our corporate development strategy.

Beside strong corporate policy on environmental protection we are responsible employer and as such we are also investing in our workers health and security of work aspects.
